River Valley Artisans is made up of artists and artisans in towns along the Connecticut River. We are a not-for-profit group and our mission is to give local artists the opportunity to exhibit their work in this area.  If you would like more information on the tour, please visit us at:

The River Valley Artisans Tour is a cooperative event scheduled for Columbus Day weekend, Oct. 10 and 11 from 10:00-4:00 each day. Travel the scenic back roads of Southern New Hampshire in the Connecticut River Valley during our peak foliage season while enjoying the work of local artists and artisans in their studios. This self-guided tour encompasses the towns of Chesterfield, Spofford, and Westmoreland, NH. There will be a group of artists exhibiting together in the Westmoreland Town Hall, centrally located on Route 63 in Westmoreland. Start your tour here to obtain a map and see samples of the work from each artist participating in the tour. From here you may plan your trip to be as extensive or as brief as you like, taking in spectacular autumn foliage everywhere. Don’t forget to bring your camera! There will be studios exhibiting paintings, naturally dyed yarns, wood turning & jewelry along with a local vineyard and all will have many items for sale. Consider coming to our preview on Friday evening, October 9 from 6:30-8:00 PM at the Westmoreland Town Hall. Pick up your map, plan your weekend . Don't forget to sign up for the raffle at each artists' location. Also visit us at: https://www.facebook.com/pages/River-Valley-Artisans/441245715892143

This year the River Valley Artisans is teaming up  with the Winchester Wildlife Rehabilitation Center (WWRC), a non-profit organization, for something special.  The WWRC  rescues and releases injured birds and animals, many of them babies.  We are collaborating with them to help them do a raffle during our tour.  100% of their raffle proceeds will go to the wildlife center.  To see some of the animals they have rescued, please check out these sites:  https://www.facebook.com/WinchesteWildlifeRehab

Items to be raffled may be seen on our Facebook page and on this website.
